Wellbeing through video: The 10:10 Course

Young people’s wellbeing has been in the spotlight in recent years.

10:10 is an innovative wellbeing resource created by UDC to help young people discover how to live differently and find their best life. 10 themes built on spirituality and positive psychology give 11–17 year-olds the opportunity to explore different ideas around happiness and the art of living life well.

Each theme in 10:10 is supported by two films: the ‘idea’ film helps to explain each concept and the ‘experts’ film provides a range of insights and advice from a group of professionals.

UDC asked Better Story’s videography and design team to produce this engaging video course. You can watch a trailer here:

We worked closely with UDC from the initial meeting to the whole course’s completion.

During a weekend retreat with the team, we provided ideas and inspiration on creatively and visually introducing each theme. Following the creation of storyboards, we embarked on filming, animating, and editing 10 ‘theme introduction’ films for the resource.

Our team travelled across the country to film various experts contributing their insights to the themes addressed, blending solid theory with engaging and creative presentations.

In total, we produced 19 short films for the 10:10 resource. We’re thrilled to see 10:10 being used by school and community groups nationwide.
