Corporate Fundraising

Many charities are realising the potential in building strong corporate partnerships, but how do you go about making the right connections which will be mutually beneficial?

I have 20 years' experience founding successful charities and social ventures, starting and growing multiple funding streams.

Just recently, I raised £60,000 from corporations in 5 months for a community project - I'd love to show you how.

In our regular meetings we’ll discuss all the actions required to start or grow your corporate partnerships fundraising. You’ll learn how to:

  • Attract and secure significant corporate partnerships that can transform your charities finances.

  • Apply best practices for identifying, engaging, and building long-lasting relationships with companies.

  • Move beyond transactional sponsorships to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Develop a powerful value proposition that will resonate with corporate decision-makers and their CSR goals.

What’s different about our methodology is that I’ve led both business ventures and charities and am still working in charity fundraising, meaning what you get is up to date experience, not theory.

I’m convinced every charity should explore Corporate Partnerships. I’ve seen first-hand its incredible potential for revenue generation and transformative relationships and I’d love to help you do the same.

About Karina

I was founder and CEO of the successful refugee charity Upbeat Communities, from 2005 – 2015. I then co-founded and led the national refugee charity Welcome Churches until 2020. Over that time, I raised over half a million pounds to help refugees settle in the UK. I developed several innovative projects that have been replicated across the UK. In 2020 I received the Langton Award from the Archbishop of Canterbury for services to refugees.

  • In 2022 I was awarded a bursary to study a Business Masters at the University of Cambridge in Social Innovation, where I achieved a distinction for my research. As Head of Business and Social Innovation at Reach, a multi-site church in the East Midlands, I relaunched its conference business. In its first year this generated over £150,000 for the charity. In 2023 I was commissioned as project lead for a Community Grocers, raising over £97,000 in 6 months to launch the project.

As Director of Fundraising and Marketing for Better Story, I multiply this impact by supporting charities and leaders who are transforming communities across the globe. I’m here to walk alongside you as you write your own story.
